Colors of Malaysia

On the 31st of August, our turn to celebrate the independence day, with much fanfare from people in yellow. Lots of noisy vuvuzela that drown the faint cry of clean....what? Unfortunately, Malaysia Book of Records' officials were not present to record the decibel of noise generated, they must be somewhere measuring the longest....whatever... We even saw aunties and uncles coming out in droves to have their selfies taken amid a sea of yellow, will the Simpsons be proud of this yellow craze?

Not to be left out, on the 16th of September, another mass celebration for inclusion of our brethren from Sabah and Sarawak into Malaysia was held. This time, yet another group of patriots, all dressed in red though most do not celebrate Chinese New Year occupied the empty streets of Kuala Lumpur. Most came with their vision of a better Malaysia, let's ask if Elmo would approve this red tide.

2 more colors from the Jalur Gemilang, Blue and White are still plotting for the perfect time to strike.

Some who stayed at home are probably more concerned with the color purple. Get well soon, Mr Ringgit, we will pray for your recovery so that we can continue our globe trotting activity.

As for the rest, they only see haze in grey. Cough...cough...we need to have a blue and white demonstration urgently to bring back the clear blue skies and fluffy white clouds. "Hidup hidup, hidup blue skies with no haze!"

TMIKLites, what color do you see with your eyes and feel with your heart? Most importantly, what color is your blood? Tell us all about your vision for a better Malaysia too or you just want to live without worries? Tell us tonight, at our #768 meeting, theme is "Living without Worry".

Area P1 and Area P2 HSSE Contest is postponed

Dear friends of Div P, Area P1 and P2. We wish to inform you of the inevitable postponement of the joint Area P1 and P2 contest for security reasons.

This decision is reached based on the consensus from DIV P council in light of the rumored gathering of the red shirts (not to be mistaken with the chinese new year gang) that might begin as early as tonight.

The original agenda for tonight might drag beyond 10pm given the strong number of participants. So, in view of everyone's safety which is the top priority, it's better to be safe than sorry.

We are so sorry that some of you had to cancel your initial plans just to lend a helping hand to area p1 and p2. We will remind the contestants to up their level and give the judges a more challenging time in scoring and also to treat the guests to a spectacle of awesome speeches.

We will be in touch again and hopefully everyone is still able to help out or just to attend on the new date, which is now in discussion. We are grateful for your commitments nonetheless.

It was a difficult decision to make, so sorry for the last minute postponement.

This is not the end...we shall meet again, just before the Division P Contest which will be held on 3rd October 2015.
