Hot Air Balloon Workshop
Dear Readers,
Bored of going up KLCC Skybridge? Tired of riding on the Eye on Malaysia? Then this is your opportunity to try something Different! TMIKL is organizing an Balloon Workshop that is open to everyone. The workshop includes a briefing on how the balloon is prepared, plus everything there is to learn about a hot air balloon. The participants will then be taken for a ride up to a height of 90 feet. Due to guidelines, the balloon will not be flying around freely, but will only fly vertically up to its intended height.
The view from up there will be absolutely breathtaking. Don't forget to bring cameras.

Joint Meeting with ITC Bintang
We seem to be doing a lot of joint meetings lately. Not to say there are too many of them, in fact these joint meetings are simply guaranteed to be fun-filled events. Last meeting was not an exception.
Our guests were taken by surprise by the new arrangement of seats (without tables!!). He also gave a very creative introduction of Toastmasters by using presentation slides. Even our existing members learnt something new, when he showed us the founder of Toastmasters, Ralph C. Smedley's face for the first time!!
Our creative TME, Ivan Chong of ITC Bintang brought new meaning to the phrase "bringing the energy level up". The meeting began with a simple game of dancing to the music. With everyone warmed up, the meeting began with table topics, followed by 3 superb assignment speeches.
i) Sydney told us about his experience finding a job in his Assignment Speech #2
ii) Robyn Yap told us why he joined Rotaract Club (to get popular with girls) in his Assignment Speech #5
iii) Ismail Omar told us about his childhood in his third Icebreaker(!!). We were flabbergasted to know he was embarking on a new CC track. You can always count on an Area Governer to show a sterling example.
Hopefully this meeting can foster closer ties between our clubs within Area P4. Until next time, Happy Toastmastering!!
